The area of Gravesham can be found on the western edge of Maritime Kent, situated on the south bank of the River Thames, a convenient 25 miles from Central London. Its major town, Gravesend, is a progressive town which combines the attractions of an historic town beside the river with outstanding countryside and attractive villages on the slopes of the North Downs. The recently opened Javelin Fast Train service from Gravesend offers an incredible 22 minute journey time to central London. Whilst Ebbsfleet to Europe takes only an 1 hour and 15 minutes, with frequent services to Brussels, Calais, Paris, Disneyland, Tours - France, Moutiers, Avignon, Lille, Nice, Toulon and Bourg St Maurice.
