The government have announced that the tenant eviction ban will now end on 31^st May 2021 this means Bailiffs will be able to start work from 1^st June 2021.

Notice periods will also from the 1^st June 2021 be reduced from 6 months to 4 months and that subject to public health advice and progress of the road map in England notice periods will return to the usual 2 months from 1^st October 2021.

Courts will continue to prioritise the most serious cases including fraud and anti-social behavior and notice periods for the most serious cases will remain lower, including 4 weeks for Over 4 months accumulated rent arrears.
